I like that juicer; reminds me of a commercial grade quality. I really like your style. I subscribed.

Awesome job dan! Just wondering if there are other potential theories about juicing that you tend to agree or disagree with. Food combining was really interesting even if it has never happened to me before

aloualou18 May 29, 2010 at 8:21 pm

I LOVE the discussion about digestion and the “field knows more than you think you do”…it makes so much sense and it’s exactly what i thought but never really could vocalize or express in words. great videos, wonderful information, and TRUTH: it’s why we love you, man! :)

Can I use regular coconuts they sell at whole foods? It doesn’t seem like they sell the Thai young coconuts here in CT. I believe I read some where as well that the Thai coconuts are dipped in pesticides and stuff.

Dan, just bought the juicer yesterday and am inspired by your videos. I am beginning a detoxification of my body and am trying to lose about 25 pounds. I think watching your videos everyday will help me get past the “hump”. Thanks so much for what you do!!!!! GREAT JOB!

Keenan4life May 30, 2010 at 12:13 am

Yeah food combining is real, I’ve read about it. I don’t think it’s not a big deal though if you’re on a raw diet. It’s like you can’t eat protein with starch, because protein is digested in a different way than starch is, and if you have both in your stomach, then the effects of the different digestive molecules will cancel each other up. It’s also bad to eat sugars after a meal, because the sugar will ferment which means huge bacterial growth that your immune system has to oppress, stressingit

Dan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

gourmetveganchef May 30, 2010 at 12:22 am

I am sorry to hear that out there are people not appreciating your great contribution which is literally HELP/SUPPORT to thousands and millions of people. It seems like the closer you get to their “perfect idea” of raw vegan diet the more they will argue…BUT it”s about helping each other and inspiring each other! PEACE AND LOVE TO YOU,
Patricia

yup yup yup! But I feel really bad when I have a lot of fat or dehydrated foods. Food combining is important for me too. I like fresh and simple meals :)

I have the champion juicer. Only juicer I have ever owned so I don’t know much about other juicers. It works okay.
